Cambridge Sculptors

Shortly after I retired, I noticed an advert for a weekend course in Stone Carving at Wysing Arts in Bourn, Cambridgeshire. I gave it a try and was hooked. I bought some tools, had a new workshop built in the garden and I was away!

Since then, I have produced sculptures in alabaster, limestone, marble and soapstone. I like calling in at quarries (mainly limestone) around the country and collecting different stones.

I have taken part in a number of exhibitions, sold over fifty sculptures and given many away to friends and family. My sculptures can now be found in France, Norway, Ireland and many parts of the UK.

I carve for fun but it is very nice when someone asks 'Can I buy that?'
